IDEAS FOR PROMOTING YOUR ELERTS

This eLert is to give you some ideas on how to promote your eLert pages, increase your exposure and ultimately increase your ad revenue and product sales.

If you have been watching eLert Gadget over the last 6 weeks you will see that we are now attracting a lot more traffic, we've gone from say 400 to 600 unique visitors per day to nearly 4000 visitors per day and its currently rising each and every day, if you want to grab some of this traffic follow these simple instructions.

By the way...this is just the start of our vertical traffic curve, we are shortly releasing iGoogle Gadgets, Yahoo Widgets, FaceBook applications and much more so what this space.

To get your 'foot in the door' and grab as much of the growing traffic as you can you need to understand that an eLert is a simple web page easily created from within your Publisher account.

People in general are attracted to web sites that offer useful information. eLert Gadget now has a growing abundance of articles that are both informative and entertaining which is why our popularity continues to grow.

Of course the question is, how do you get a chunk of that traffic?

Here's a tip provided by one of our more experienced eLert Publishers...

What Happens Now?

Your eLert is instantly posted on the Internet and simultaneously delivered to Google Gadgets, Google Desktop, Yahoo Widgets, FaceBook and Thousands of News Aggregators. Most eLerts also appear within the major search engines.

You can instantly prove to the search engines that your eLert is worthy of a place within their ranks by submitting to as many Social Book marking and Networking sites as you can. We have made this real simple for you by placing a 'Share' link at the top of each eLert, here is an example eLert. After your eLert is creating submit to some of those listed on the 'Share' link and you'll soon see your eLerts listed on Google etc.

Each eLert Gadget you create will have it's own RSS Feed, we also encourage our Publishers to submit this feed to as many RSS Feed directories listed here.

Attracting visitors to your eLerts, where ever they come from will rely on 3 key concepts:

1. Writing excellent, informative, unique eLerts.
2. Promoting your eLerts (Like using the 'Share' link).
3. Patience...
