Things are moving very quickly now, in less than 2 weeks we have nearly 700 registered Publishers and over 5000 Google Desktop users already subscribing to our publishers eLerts.

Go to Google.com and do a search on eLert Gadget and you'll see that around 12,000 websites are already writing about us, it's creating quite a buzz!

We've just added a major new feature, if you have an RSS Feed you can now plug this into your eLert Gadget so that your RRS news can also be delivered and read through eLert Gadget, saving you the time and energy of publishing twice! This is a major feature and will attract a lot of the big players, you'll already see some test eLerts within the eLibrary we are running for the BBC.

Once these big media companies start using eLert Gadget you'll see a massive peak in subscribers accessing your eLerts.

On the theme of RSS we are shortly adding the facility for end users to manually add RSS Feeds to their eLert Gadget. This will be another major feature and will open the doors to a host of new ways through which eLert Gadget will be promoted and marketed. eLert Gadget will then become a universally accepted RSS Reader through which any end user can add multiple RSS feeds.

This will not only be a first for any Google Gadget but also universally across the internet, a unique way for end user to receive both eLerts and RSS Feeds, backed by the trusted infrastructure of the mighty Google.com.

eLert Gadget is destined to appear widespread across RSS Directories, major media and news websites pushing more and more information seekers to the eLibrary to access your eLerts.
