Are Fathers Really Necessary?
Some psychologists propose that a quality heterosexual marriage in the optimal context promotes responsible fathering and makes a farther figures an absolute necessity in the normal upbringing and development of a child. But in today's modern world of transgenderism and same-sex marriages, parenting is becoming more commonplace in our society than what we would want to believe.
The question for today is, in our changing juxtaposed world, do children really need a father to grow up 'normal'? What is 'normal' today when it comes to relationships for you and what impact will growing up with two mothers or two fathers for that matter, have on a child's developing psyche?
