Opinion.If you go to the Kentucky Tea Parties' website you will find links to a number of Kentucky Tea Party sites. One of the links is American Family Association of Kentucky. The American Family Association of Kentucky Mission Statement:American Family Association of KentuckyOur mission statement is based on John 10:10 where Christ states, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". This statement implies that there are two conflicting views of the world.  Some people believe in God.  Some oppose God and try to prevent others from receiving the love of God. These two conflicting views result in the "Cultural War".  Our mission is to oppose the barriers to the flow of God's love to all people. As you can see the American Family Association of Kentucky are Christians. Really? I thought Christianity was about saving souls, but, in my humble opinion, the American Family Association of Kentucky, seems to be about spreading fear and untruths.On the home page of the American Family Association of Kentucky's website you will see this: "Listen to the truth about Obamacare and his death panels." When you play the audio you will hear a fellow calling himself Jeff talking to WLS radio host Mark Levine, click here to listen to the conversation or view the video at the end of this post. The conversation went something like this: Jeff (the caller): Basically, what the document stated was, if you’re over 70 and you’d come into an emergency room and you’re on government-supported health care that you get comfort care.Levin: What a minute. … What document and … what’s the source for this?Jeff: This is the Obama’s new health care plan for advanced neurosurgical care.Levin: And who issued this, HHS?Jeff: Yes, and basically they don’t call them patients, they call them units. And instead of, they call it ethics panels or ethics committees would get together and meet and decide where the money would go for hospitals.
