Hello from Divas and Goddesses!

There is nothing more uncomfortable about a bra that fit poorly! And yet it is an amazing fact that 7 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong bra!

Taking just a few minutes to determine your correct size can make a world of difference in the way you look and feel! Let us help you determine the perfect fit for you.

The size of your bra size is made up of two measurements: Band size (i.e. 34, 36, 38) and Cup size (i.e. A, B, C).

You will need:

A tape measurer

Wear your best fitting bra…but make sure it is not a sports bra, it isn't padded and it is not a minimizer bra.

This can be done by yourself; however it will likely be more accurate if you have someone else take these measurements for you.

Paper and pen

Measure Your Band Size

Begin by measuring directly under your breasts pulling the tape measurer all the way around your body. Make sure that the tape did not get twisted and as you stand in front of the mirror assure that the tape is parallel to the floor. Also make sure your arms are down by your side.

Let all the air out of your lungs and note the measurement. Make sure it is directly under your bust, because if it is too high, your measurements will be too large. If is too low, it will be too small.

Once you have the measurement, you will want to round it to the closest inch. For example: If your measurement is 32 3/8" you will round down to 32". If your measurement is 32 ½" you will round to 33".

If the rounded measurement is an even number, add 4 inches. If you had an odd number in your measurement, such as 33", add 5". This is because band sizes are only in even sizes. Therefore, if your band size measurement was 33"+5"= 38" band size. If it was 32"+4" = 36"

Another method for finding your band size is to measure around your body, straight across your back and chest directly above the bust at underarm level. Again, expel all your air, and keep your arms at your side. High-busted women and women with implants will have trouble keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor; do your best. If this measurement is an odd number, add one inch and the result will be your band size.

Measuring Your Cup Size

  1. Standing straight, arms at your side, measure around your body at the fullest part of your bust.
  2. Wrap the tape measurer around you so that it is just touching but it does not bind.
  3. If one of your breasts is significantly larger than the other, pad the cup of the smaller breast.
  4. As you did with the band size, round up or down with the nearest inch.
  5. Now subtract the measurement from the band size from the bust size measurement. The difference is what the cup size is. For example, if you bust size is 40" and your band size is 36", your cups size would be D.

Proper Care of your Bras:

It's important to care for your bras properly. If your bras are washed, dried and stored correctly, they will age better and give you more support. If you follow my directions below, your bras will last longer and look better. I always say - A bra is not a Mercedes, it will not last 10 years!

It is important that your old bras are thrown away and replaced with new bras every 6 to 9 months. This is especially true for everyday bras and full figure bras.

Instructions for Machine Washing Your Bras

  1. Hook the backs of your bras.
  2. Put similar color items in a Lingerie Bag and zip it shut.
  3. Wash in the machine with Silk & Lingerie Wash on the Delicate Cycle, Cold Water.
  4. When you take your molded-cup bras out of the wash, reshape the cups with your hands. Don't ever wring out your bras.
  5. Always hang to dry. NEVER ever put ANY bra in the dryer!

Storing Your Molded Cup Bras

  1. Never invert one cup into the other. Doing so destroys the fibers in the molding, makes the cups bumpy and shortens the life of your bra.
  2. Stack your bras in your drawer.
  3. When traveling, pack your Molded Cup Bras last, stacking one on top of each other, stuff the cups with panties so that they hold their shape.
