Clearwater Beach

Clearwater is located in Pinellas County. St. Petersburg and Tampa aren’t that far away. This area is a “Florida Best Beaches” top-rated vacation destination. The #1 beach award for the U.S. got already won several times in the past. What makes it so beautiful, is the all year awesome climate, the clean and well kept environment and the be- autiful sunshine. But also including the swaying palms and the humid air, with very little rain. Only to view the surrounding area is an enjoyment itself.

The City of Clearwater is executing a plan, to get lots of new shops, restaurants and movie theatres to downtown, to make a visit even more enjoyable. This is for many visitors to come.

Right on the other side of the Beach Area is the Coachman Park, where often world-known bands play on the weekend. Now and then you can listen to some oldies, and you’ll find out by surprise, that the Beach Boys are playing. Clearwater is also featuring a big Annual Jazz Festival, where worldwide famous artists come and play for hours.

There is a new and very impressive Bridge, where you drive from downtown Clearwater over to the Beach Areas. It’s a complete different world. Clearwater is a Resort City, no hectic or noise, and not really much crowded. Coming down to the beach areas, walking parks and playgrounds, it has a very special atmos- phere of wealth, beauty and cleanness. You may feel, staying in a five-star environment. Again, in 2008 Clear- water Beach was chosen as the #1 Beach in the US. And close to it are Tampa, St Petersburg and Tarpon Springs.

You can travel on a big Red Pirate Ship and visit beautiful sightseeing, or go a bit later for a nice sunset out to the sea. There is also a free Trolley Service from downtown Clearwater to the beach area, where you will find cozy restaurants, beautiful shops and lots of useful yacht and boat rentals.

Within a relative short driving time you can reach many popular Flori- da attractions. It’s a 30 minutes ride to Busch Gardens in Tampa, and 90 minutes to Walt Disney World Resort, Sea World and the Uni- versal Studios Escape to Orlando – and get to the biggest resorts in the U.S. for excellent family entertainment.
