Before you can add any FanPages to Facebook there are 3 important things you MUST do. These are very simple and very straight forward. Follow these steps and then you can progress to building your first FanPage.

STEP ONE: Open a Facebook account here.

STEP TWO: Whilst logged into your Facebook account go to this page then scroll down the page and locate and click on the 'Create a Page' option in the left hand navigation panel. 'Create a Page' link is highlighted within screen shot below by red arrow.
 

STEP THREE:  Choose a type of page which suits the market or niche you work within.

STEP FOUR:  Your page within Facebook is now set up. That was the easy part, you now need to add your FanPages (or tabs) to this page.  You will now see an interface as shown below, you can choose to upload an image right now, or leave till later.
