St Pete’s Beach
The beaches of St Petersburg, located on the Gulf of Mexico, are best to reach from a little town, called St Pete’s Beach. It is a 12 miles drive away from St. Petersburg, sitting in the main beach area, as the top destination for a lot of awe-some vacation packages.
The 7 miles long beaches are spectacular, they are oceanfront, and close to them is Clearwater. The City of St. Pete Beach is a barrier island community, located just off the Pinellas County mainland, with a permanent population of about 10,032 (latest estimate from the University of Florida). The city is also a popular winter residence for many people, living in other parts of the United States, Canada and Europe.
St. Pete Beach is a significant tourist destination, having over 3,000 transient accommodation units, including major hotel and motel operations as well as many smaller, more intimate lodging facilities.
Another big plus-point of this location, there are many opportunities, where one can easily visit other area beaches. All of them together sit on a beautiful peninsula, located on Florida's West Coast. The area is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the west, and by Tampa Bay to the east.
