One of the things you need is crib bedding for your nursery and this is where I can help. There is so much choice I'm sure you'll find the crib bedding set that's perfect for your little one. Crib bedding, What is it exactly?

Let start with the basics: what is crib bedding exactly?
Crib bedding is a term we use for all of the upholstered items you could need to decorate a nursery, including items you need for the crib. To make it easier for you it is possible to buy the essentials in a set. Most crib bedding sets include a coverlet or quilt, sheet, dust ruffle or crib skirt and bumper but some sets include a lot more so always check what is included in a bedding set. Other items that could be part of a set are diaper stackers, valances and hampers. It isn't only meant to look cute but (some of) these items will help you stay organised (and save time). There is nothing worse then trying to find diapers in the middle of changing your baby.

I'm not being condescending but if this is all Chinese for you let me explain it a bit more:
We all know sheets and quilts (or coverlets) but valances and diaper stackers is where it could get tricky. So let me show you some examples so we all know what we're talking about here.

Bumper:The bumpers are cushions that can be attached to the inside of crib with either velcro or ribbons to prevent your baby form hurting itself in it's crib. There's a big debate going on whether to use bumpers or not so read up on this a bit more. If you decide not to use them a crib fringe will add a little extra to your crib to.

Valance: A valance is a short drapery that will add a little extra to your nursery window. This is probably the easiest way to add some finishing touches.

Hamper: The place to put your babies dirty clothes. The one thing you really need to keep your nursery tidy and organised.

Diaper Stacker: A diaper stacker like it suggests stores all the diapers you need when changing your baby. This a very practical addition to your nursery and most themes have a matching diaper stacker so it will complete a theme.

Dust ruffle or crib skirt: This is a strip of cloth that drops down from the bottom of the cribs mattress. This is especially useful when your crib is a "multi level" one so it will cover the empty space between where the mattress is now and the bottom of your crib. When you baby grows and the mattress comes down it will cover the space between the mattress and the floor.
