This tutorial also ties in with Facebook's 'Featured Page Owner' section which can be used in similar way and edited from same area within Facebook.

The 'Featured Likes' area of your FanPage presents a valuable advertising opportunity which every FanPage page owner should take advantage of.

On the face of it Facebook have intended this area of your page to display 5 of your favourite FanPages. Which is great if you get to show everyone YOUR favourite Fanpages.

However, if take a little time to think this through you can use these 5 'Featured Likes' to link through to other FanPages you may have, or better still go ahead and create new FanPages purely so that you can link to these and keep the traffic focused on what you have to say rather than leak that traffic to another FanPage.

Follow these 3 steps to choose the FanPages you want to link to, but if you want to link to your own FanPages you will first need to go to the FanPage you want to link to and make sure you have 'Liked' it before taking these 3 steps.

STEP #1: Whilst on the wall of your FanPage click on the 'Edit Page' button.

STEP #2: In the left hand navigation column click on 'Featured'

STEP #3: Click on 'Edit Featured Likes' which will trigger a face box, within the face box you can tick up to 5 Fanpages you want to feature as your 'Featured Likes'. Remember that if you want to link to your FanPages to look out for your FanPage(s) within this face box.

For a simple, quick and easy way to create, upload and manage your FanPages, start using the 'Ultimate FanPage Builder'.

Once completed your
'Featured Likes' area of your FanPage will be populated with the FanPages you you want to link to:
