Are you confused? Is your home business overwhelming you? Not sure in what order to do things? At times it can be daunting, but if you make small changes to your daily plan, it will clarify itself and become a bit easier. It is almost a given that most marketers or home business owners jump in the water without any idea of where they are swimming to. Find your lighthouse or beacon first before you swim out to sea.
Make a list of what you plan to do today. Not for tomorrow. Today first. Write down what you want to get done. Do not try to go off of memory, because you will forget at least half of what your plan for today is. Train and prepare yourself to take on multiple tasks at once. An example of this would be checking your emails while checking your site visits, blog posts, etc. Multi-tasking will help ease the frustration of not being able to get your plan for the day accomplished.
That is the beauty with home business. There is always, always something to do. If you go at on the fly, you will miss so much and the structure of the foundation you are laying will not be stable. Take the small steps and soon enough the giant leaps will follow.
If you owned a brick and mortar shop, would you sell anything without taking inventory and setting up the shop first? Of course not. You want it to be a smooth running machine before you take off with it. Treat you home business the same way. Write down what you plan to do today. Then, after you have finished today's agenda, write down what you plan to do tomorrow. Have a plan, stick to it, and that will make your confusion disappear.
Discrepancies and variances will arise, but if you have your daily plan, then those bumps in your road to success will be much easier to drive past. It is a great thing to dream and view your goals, but you have to start with now. Now is where the dreams start. Take it slowly, make it more efficient, and strive to make your system of operating better for you.
