The Working Mother?

It is 2009, a recession gnaws on every drawstring, work is scarce and money even more so. Often it is not times like these that cause mothers to jump out and help push the cart.  Perhaps the family wants a second cart with a bigger horse, or a house with enough room for the growing family or Mom feels she needs to get out and be amongst adults or else she will go insane!  Whatever the personal reasons, the fact is that mothers of babies and young children, unlike perhaps our parents and grandparents, do work.

The question for today is, does Maternal Employment Have a Negative Effect on Infant Development?
