My grandfather and I were out fishing one day and he attached a minnow to his hook and bobber.  He went to cast the minnow into the lake and his minnow went flying off the hook.  Usually I would let him know right away, but I just laughed for a minute and let it slide. 

A short time later he looked beside the boat and said hey look theres a minnow here that's wounded.  Is your minnow on your hook still?  He's all serious.  I burst into laughter and simply told him to check his hook. 

When he reeled his line in and found no minnow on the hook he declared with excitement "hey look here I must have got some action" 

Then I almost fell off the boat laughing!!
